About Uptown Bowtique

Uptown Bowtique is an e-commerce brand that sells bow ties, bebes, belles, beaus, etc. Primarily they sell custom bows in various seasons or colors.

Brand identity creation

Uptown Bowtique is a new brand and they asked for a simple, custom, and minimalistic logo that encapsulates their new brand. They wanted to see a bow tie in the logo and asked for a brown color scheme for their brand. So, I started mind-mapping the project, and yeah! Let’s get started.

Exploring different concepts

Now it was time to do some research and then scratching. After that, I designed some concept logo and sent it to my client for feedback. One of the most important things to make a logo design success is its meaning or message. Barely seeing a logo on a product or advertisement is not enough to make it memorable.

The chosen concept

Then it was time to choose a final logo concept. We went with this concept because it had a bow tie graphic as the client wanted and it looks and feels like an elegant brand with the crown type graphic with it.

Color palette

Color is very important in branding and marketing because it is where first impressions of customers are based. Also, color is the secret in producing a good identity for a company. Colors are more than just a visual aid because colors convey emotions, feelings, and experiences

Brand typeface

The typefaces you choose can have a huge impact on the way your brand communicates. After all, it’s not just what you say: It’s how you say it. By choosing fonts that reflect your brand’s values traditional or quirky, fun or formal.

Combination logos usually contain a memorable and stunning graphic that tells the story of who you are, what you do, and all in conjunction with your business name for easy interpretation and identification.
